All too often I see small businesses (SB) operating with a “shotgun approach", rather than operating off a clear strategy with defined tactics. Far too many SB’s approach marketing without a clearly defined strategy or goal. This needs to change.
Facebook has once again adjusted the way it prioritizes which content to show in your news feed. It isn’t necessary to delve into previous news feed changes and how we arrived at this point, but it is important to know how this new change will affect your business and what you can do to stay ahead of the curve.
As a fellow small business owner, I can personally speak to the importance of #4. Having in-person, social interaction is key to running a successful business. Especially in a community like Salt Lake City, where the community of small business owners is so tightly wound. Aside from that, I would add that in addition to Social Media, small businesses need to find their digital strategy.
